Great hotel. Fabulous decor. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is that on the first morning we were woken up by a crane outside our hotel room and we couldn’t sleep due to the horrendous noise. I think it is bad planning on their part. It’s a top notch hotel and they should have planned this better. Staff were very apologetic and were offered a new room which unfortunately was a fraction of the size of the original one. Furthermore, our original room door was overlooking the internal patio. At 2pm we were woken up by people having drinks there. What a shame.it did spoil our stay. Potentially the best hotel in Cordoba but their planning let them down. I want to stress that the staff themselves were embarrassed.

The hotel is located on a very attractive square right in the middle of Cordoba and all the major sights are within an easy walk. It feels as if it has been refurbished recently and everywhere inside feels very modern. The staff are very welcoming and the central patio is very cool with its swimming pool off it. Breakfast was excellent as was having a late night drink at the roof terrace bar. It is an easy taxi drive to the train station with its good links around Spain on the AVE. Cordoba, although very hot in summer, is a rather sophisticated city with exceptional buildings and history. It is definitely a place for the siesta and the late night stroll and tapas or full dinner.

This was our second stay, having discovered last year that most of Cordoba’s attractions are closed on Mondays. Since last year the hotel has added additional rooms and a large breakfast room. The location is good, at the junction between the old and new parts of the city, an easy walk to the mosque cathedral, Roman Bridge and other locations. Our room was not large but was sufficiently big, and had a good shower room and a roof terrace which gave a sense of space. Breakfast was excellent with a delicious selection of buffet items - as good as that offered at significantly more expensive hotels we used on the same trip. I would stay there again.

You must book a luxury suite when staying here! These rooms are very spacious and provide a great home to base yourself to explore all the great treasures of Cordoba. Front desk staff were extremely helpful when booking the tours- amazing in such a busy city to be able to book the tours for the next day! What a bonus to have the Spanish team playing in Cordoba this week and have the world cup and EUFA cup on display in the main square just outside the front doors of the hotel. The bar and restaurant provide delicious food and drinks. This was one of our best stays in the whole of our trip in Spain!

A modern and clean room. The staff in this hotel is amazing! Everyone was super helpful and polite and made us feel very welcome. We had a little problem with the room at the beggining of our stay and the staff were ready to help out immediately and we were offered a new room. We actually ended up extending our stay because we liked this hotel and Cordoba so much. I liked the pool area and the roof top bar is really nice. Also the scent they use in the lobby area smells so good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
